Centre International d’Antibes has won ST Star French Language School 2026, announced at the StudyTravel Star Awards in London on 5 September. This recognition from the study-travel industry is a shared achievement for our teachers, teams, partners, families and students.
Some news deserves a little pause in the school day. This is definitely one of those moments.
Centre International d’Antibes features among the 2026 StudyTravel Star Awards winners, taking home the award in the French Language School category.
We are proud, of course. And when we think about the people behind it, we have quite a few thank-yous to make.
The StudyTravel Star Awards celebrate excellence in the international education and study-travel industry. They recognise schools, education agencies and service providers involved in helping students study abroad.
The awards follow an industry voting model: education agents vote for schools and service providers, while schools vote for their agency partners.
For a language school, that recognition carries particular meaning. Education agents help students and families choose where to study, and work with schools throughout the experience. Their trust matters to us.
This award adds another reason to celebrate alongside our accreditations, which reflect separate quality standards and evaluation processes.
We were honoured to share the shortlist with five respected finalists: ACCORD Language Schools, Alpha.B Institut Linguistique, Alpine French School, BLI Canada and ILA. Congratulations to them all.
An awards ceremony lasts an evening. The work behind a language school happens every day.
For us, this celebration brings to mind the lessons, conversations, welcomes and discoveries that make up a stay at CIA.
There is something special about the moment a student stops rehearsing a sentence in their head and simply says it.
That confidence takes practice, encouragement and a classroom where students feel comfortable trying. Our approach to teaching French combines structured language work with interaction and practical situations, connecting lessons to life outside the school.
A question in class becomes a conversation in town. A new expression finds its way into lunch with friends. And ordering a croissant becomes a small personal victory.
Before students step into a classroom, plenty has already happened.
Questions have been answered. Bookings have been organised. Accommodation has been prepared. Activities have been planned.
Our administrative, accommodation, activity and support teams help turn those arrangements into a welcoming experience. Their work continues throughout each stay, helping students find their feet and families feel informed.
It takes a whole team to make somewhere unfamiliar start feeling familiar.
Student life in Antibes gives French a place in shared experiences: discovering the old town, joining an activity, talking with classmates and getting to know people from different countries.
The Mediterranean makes a beautiful backdrop. The people give those memories their meaning.
